Can I exceed the recommended daily serving size?
Yes. We know of no reason why you cannot exceed the recommend daily serving size. If you are not consuming fresh oil fish like salmon as part of a regular balanced diet, Pure Alaska Omega Wild Alaskan Salmon would be a good natural alternative. It provides the same omega nutrition as eating two portions of salmon per week.
The Pure Alaska Omega Clinical Strength Alaskan Omega-3 product is also a great option if you do not eat fish regularly. This is a concentrated fish oil product so you get more EPA+DHA omega-3s (EPA & DHA are unique fatty acids found in fish) in a smaller softgel.
Each person is unique, so we suggest consulting with your doctor or physician prior to taking this product if you intend to take more than the recommended serving size.
The American Heart Association also recommends being “under physician’s care” if “taking more than 3 grams of omega-3 fatty acids from capsules.” – https://healthyforgood.heart.org/Eat-smart/Articles/Fish-and-Omega-3-Fatty-Acids
