Are my Pure Alaska Omega supplements shelf stable?
Yes! Pure Alaska Omega Wild Alaskan Salmon Oil and our Pure Alaska Omega Clinical Strength Alaskan Omega-3 products are shelf stable as indicated by the “Best By” date printed on every bottle. Stability testing verifies the fatty acids present at the date of manufacturing are still present at the end of shelf life, and even beyond the suggested “Best By” date. With that being said, the freshness of the oil after the suggested “Best By” date may vary. Oxidation of the fish oil may alter the flavor of the oil within the softgel. Taking these products by the “Best By” date indicated would be best as the product remains fresh until this date.
